Don’t let your website be a dumping ground. Instead: turn it into a demand generation engine.
Here’s a few questions to consider (yes answers are good)
- Are you clear about the problem you solve for your customer?
- Have you stated why it’s important that this problem be solved?
- Is it clear on your site what your visitor should do about the problem?
- Are you focused on your prospect, not you, your product, and your company?
- Is it easy for your visitor to figure out what you do?
- Do you show them a simple path to make their life easier?
- Are there clear calls to action in more than one place?
- Do you avoid long and complex verbiage?
- Are you providing value (e.g., via assets) in exchange for email addresses?
- Do you use simple words and let images speak?
What would you add?
