Words matter, but so does quantity

Words are important, but too many in sales & consulting will hurt you.

Examples:

  • Your website is a word wall, confusing your customers
  • You ramble in your sales conversations, confusing your customers
  • You use too many words and go down rabbit holes when presenting your solution, confusing your customers

One of the reasons for too many words is that you’re often trying to clarify the problem you solve in real time.

Instead – figure that out first – strip it to bare essentials – know it cold – and use that on your website, and in your talk tracks

You should see two things happen.

  1. You feel better – you’re clearer, more confident
  2. Your prospect feels better – they are clearer and are more confident in you
