I asked one how it was going, “Great, but you gotta use each set (one after the other) or it doesn’t work.”
Simple enough – each set is like building blocks – one upon the other – to get their teeth moving in the right direction.
It’s the same when developing sales skills
Sometimes, sellers need to:
- Unlearn unhelpful habits
- Try new language
- Work on tone
- Etc…
Too often, though, sellers are being trained for a quick fix – a short term gain.
This will not straighten out your sales.
Look for the path with building blocks.
