Set the stage for a great sales conversation

Here’s a 4-step agenda framework to kick off a great sales conversation. It’s designed to set expectations, create safety, and lead to a next step. Adapt to your context…

  1.  Set time expectations: I appreciate you carving out some time to chat. I have an hour booked on my calendar does that still work for you?
  2. Get permission to ask questions: I’d like to start by ensuring I understand you and your situation. Would it be okay if I ask you some questions?
  3. Your difference & safe space: Our approach is a little different and isn’t a fit for everyone. So if at anytime you feel like this isn’t for you, please feel free to stop me – is that fair?
  4. Build in next step: Lastly, if what we talk about today seems like it would be helpful to you, could we use the last ten minutes to layout a next step – does this sound like a good use of our time?

The above sets the tone of a safe place for a great conversation.

I hope this helps!
