Salesy vs. Non-Salesy

Salesy: I would love to set up 30 minutes with you to show you what we have to offer.

Non-salesy: Are you open to a conversation to learn more about you and your situation, or should we part ways here?

Salesy: Tell me about your pain and challenges – what’s keeping you up at night?

Non-salesy: I’m not sure if this is on your mind, but when I talk with other CEOs I’m hearing X, Y, and Z. Is this your experience, or am I off base?

Salesy: I think this would REALLY help you with this problem.

Non-salesy: Do you this would be a good fit in your context, or is this not what you had in mind?

Salesy: the cost is X, but if you purchase this month I can offer it for this.

Non-salesy:  The investment is X.
