Habits are important for many reasons, but they can block innovation & seeing things afresh. 

So…

Question the habit:

  • Has my industry changed and how?
  • Why do I start sales convos that way?
  • Why do I always share that anecdote?
  • How am I coming across with my tone?
  • What would I do if I was brand new to sales?
  • What’s in this email that will help my prospect?
  • Who could help me see my habits (good or bad)?
  • When I follow up, why is it always this cadence and not…?

Ask detailed & high-level questions

Ask nuanced & fresh-eyes questions

You can’t fix what you don’t see

Be a seer
