Price jitters

Talking about price makes a lot of sellers nervous. If this is you, you’ve likely been taught some “salesy” tactics around delivering price.

Here’s a quick fix:

First, salesy might sound like this: the cost is X, but if you purchase this month I can save you 10%

The problem with this is:

  • It lacks confidence
  • It doesn’t feel genuine 
  • And it undermines value

A trusted advisor on the other hand might simply say: The investment is X.

Three things to notice:

  • Confidence
  • Investment v. Cost
  • Silence
