You may have a great conversation with a prospect. Maybe you even connected as human beings. Great! Often times the train goes off the tracks when you lay out next steps.
Prospects are busy. And they don’t know your product or your process. The clearer you make it the better. Too often, there are emails flying back and forth, phone calls, and confusing next steps.
Do what my organic laundry detergent does – break it down into simple steps:
- Fill the jug
- Pour in packet
- Shake it
- Save the world
Let’s make this a bit more business friendly. Let’s say you’ve just met someone, and they’re willing to talk to you. You may just book the time, but that would be a mistake. Lay out the path.
