What’s wrong with this?

  1. It’s focused on what I want
  2. It makes questionable claims
  3. It tries to create pressure, urgency
  4. It commoditizes me like all the others

Here’s how a professional seller might approach selling my book:

  • This book may not be for all sellers
  • That would be pretty arrogant to say
  • But if you’re tired of salesy approaches 
  • The ones that make you feel inauthentic
  • Check out the movement to non-salesy selling

  2. It’s transparent
  3. Tells a relatable story
  4. Addresses a real problem
  5. Touches on human emotions
  6. Invites you into a new movement
  7. Bonus – it’s all true – so it feels good
