“Yeah, everything I try isn’t working.”

“Articles, or an offer to learn about my services.”

“That’s about it on LinkedIn?”
What else are you doing?
“Well, I have a small newsletter.”
What are you sending people?
“Similar content that I put on LinkedIn.”
Okay, anything else?
“That’s about it.”
As a recap, is it fair to say that you post once-in-awhile and send occasional emails, and that the content is, for lack of a better word, generic or focused on selling your services?
“Yes – but it’s not working.”
Are you open to some new ideas, or do you want to stick to the path you’re on?
“No, please…what should I do differently?”

The answer is simple: If you want more leads you need to give more value.
Here’s a few ideas:
- Speaking events
- Downloadable free assets
- Free trials
- High value targeted content in a newsletter, blog, posts
- Post every day
- Don’t talk about you. Talk about the problem you solve for your audience – from every angle
