Do the cha-cha

Selling is sometimes referred to as a dance. If so, what type of dance? A waltz? Boring – lots of structure and a bit outdated for modern buyers. I like the cha-cha. One, it’s fun to say. Two, it makes an important acronym – CHA

Sales is about:

Connecting – connection as humans matters – empathy, laughter, and common ground are not tactics to learn, they’re human fundamentals. Sales tactics risk human moments.

Helping – helping people get what they want is the key to sales. Understanding, prioritizing, and solving their problem makes you a trusted advisor.

Acting – the dance does end, but there is an invitation to act – to take an action – a next step. This may be a demo, a proposal, or further investigation – and it’s always a free choice.

PS – Bruce Lee was a cha-cha champion – so there’s that, too
