A 2 minute sales pitch worth watching

Here’s what stuck out to me:

1. He know’s his audience
2. Knows what he wants
3. Knows the problem he’s solving
4. Puts the “pitch” in story format
5. Creates the enemy – “trackers”
6. Creates the hero – “you”
7. Invites you into the story
8. Uses simple language – no “tech talk” or jargon
9. Offers the solution (and win) – “his services”
10. Invites people into the “movement” – not a software solution
11. He knows the competition and immediately differentiates
12. Casts vision – “this will be a billion dollar biz”
13. Recognizes threats and puts them into perspective – e.g., Google
14. His answers are brief and confident
15. He’s transparent, inviting people to see what tackers are really doing
16. He uses people’s first name
17. He smiles when he talks
18. He maintains calm-assertiveness (a non-anxious presence)
19. It’s short ~1:30 minutes
20. Gets two brilliant backers for the price of one
